Farewell and Thank You

09.06.2005— The Band

Well friends, I guess this farewell is long overdue. Stalking Tom has decided to hang it up. After many months of searching for a new guitarist, following Aaron Rusch’s unfortunate but necessary move to LA, we realized that we just weren’t making headway in finding the right person to help us carry the sound forward. It has been a great two years and we all miss you guys. Hopefully, as some of us move on to new projects, we’ll snatch a few of you back up by the ears.

In the meantime, our humble catalogue of live and studio recordings will be made freely available online forever and ever, amen. Feel free to pass mp3s around to your friends. Spread the music and such. We’ve also got T-shirts, bumper stickers, caps and girls’ tank tops that we’ll gladly give away to loving homes. Also, stay tuned! Information about each of our latest musical projects will be posted here. For example, I’m currently working on sound design for Tomb Raider 7 and just completed sound and music for the online game Gold Miner 2: Vegas.

So feel free to email me for CDs, promo stuff and info on the past, present and future of Stalking Tom and it’s faithful crew of merry men.

New song "Where the river shallows" available at Myspace.com

10.04.2004 — Mike Peaslee

Brian brought in the bass line a couple days ago and the thing just came together. It's a simple demo recording and I'm sure it's going to evolve over the next few months until we record the new record in early 2005, but I think this take stands on it's own.

Get it here!

Alt-UK reviews Rusted Red

07.29.2004 — Todd Collins

"Stalking Tom is not your average sort of Indie Rock band – they are far from being average. Their music is truly amazing and it is hard to believe that this is their first release as they sound like a truly experienced band that know exactly what sound they are aiming to create in their music."
